Review of Rendaivu: Horse management

Most horse owners know what it's like to wonder when the last time you dewormed was, or what it was your trainer told you to work on the next time you rode.  I've tried lots of approaches on keeping good horse records, but I think I recently hit on something that will work the best of anything I've tried: Rendaivu, a free web app that has a (paid) matching smartphone app.

A quick visit with the horses

My ponies are feeling ignored lately.  Despite my best intentions, I have some personal things going o in my life that have kept me from going out to the barn very much.

I did show up briefly the other day to meet the farrier and have a rear shoe put back on Rondo, but I had to go to work and couldn't stay long.  Panama clearly wanted me to pay attention to HIM, and took up a position blocking the gate while I was haltering Rondo.

Still shedding and Panama pics

It never ceases to amaze me how long it takes for a horse to shed out a winter coat -- especially Panama.  He seems to have a never ending supply of hair, which is amazing when you consider how thin his coat seems compared to other horses, and how easily he gets cold.

Another lesson, another saddle

A week and a half ago, I posted about getting back in the saddle finally having a riding lesson after a lot of time off this winter due to being sick and the weather being poor.  For that lesson I rode Rondo.

Today I had another lesson -- overdue a week because of some other commitments that conflicted with my lesson last week -- and this time I got back in the other saddle and rode Panama.
